Tail
UKC
The tail is a thick brush set on high. When the dog is alert or excited,
the tail is carried in a loose curl over the back.
FCI
Tail set high, thick brush carried curled over the back.
AKC
Tail--Set
moderately high. May be carried curled over the back when excited; limited
to one full curl. When extended, the bone must reach to the hocks. Fault:
Tail which falls over to either side of the back.

One
of the foundation bitches of the breed had more than one full
curl to her tail and this is not uncommon in the breed today.
Preferable to a gay or sickle tail because the set is correct. |
