| Lee said it would be easy
to whip out 150 words about our Mickie, but trying to describe how she
has changed our lives has left me at a loss for words. Maybe the
way she came into our home, in my arms after she got loose at the car in
the driveway, docile and quiet, set the stage. Or the way she welcomed
Dylan during his brief stay with us. How she tolerates tourists who
want to pet her while on Vineyard walks. A little shy with people,
we have learned that is simply her nature. We would be lost without
her companionship. |
