Have you ever put your paws in the sand on a beach? My name is Pax. I live in Calabash, NC which is near Sunset Beach, with my owners and four cats. My favorite cat is Peyton. Sometimes we spend our nights together in front of the fireplace.
Our neighborhood is beautiful with lots of trees and sidewalks. I love to go on long walks! Sometimes the squirrels interrupt these walks because I like to chase them. People think I am a beautiful dog! My owner says that my red coat glows in the sun.
I am a great watch dog. I see and hear everything. It is fun to look out the window in the sunroom and see what is happening outside. Sometimes at night when I go for a walk, I see lots of deer. I bark at them because I feel that they should not be there. I do not bark a lot though. I have my own way of talking to my owner. I tell him when I need to go outside and when I would like a treat. I am happy and friendly to everyone.
Maybe you can visit me in Calabash. We can sit on the front porch of my home and watch together as the sun sets in the “Carolina Blue” sky.
