Blaze is a wonderful companion with a larger than life personality. He has made many friends and won fans for the breed around the world. I have been fortunate to make some great friends because of him. His desire for attention with his winning smile and continual waggy tail attracts people who may never have stopped to meet the breed. At Crufts he sits up on his grooming table beckoning the world to come to him as they walk by. Many people stop just to say hello to him. What makes Blaze special is that he makes friends wherever he goes. The icing on the cake is that he is a highly accomplished show dog (UK’s Number 1 Canaan Dog for 2006, 2007 (tied for number 1), 2008, and the current Number 1 Canaan Dog for 2009. Blaze sired very successful progeny including the USA’s Number 1 Canaan Dog, whilst staying at the Cherrysh Kennels with my dear friend Cheryl Hennings. He makes me exceptionally proud as a breeder and owner.
