Kiva is my dream come true.
She is an excellent guard and protector of her property, animals and me, as well as the neighborhood "alert alarm". Fortunately I’m assured by neighbors they, too, appreciate the fact nothing is ever missed!
Kiva is also my service dog; she’s still learning and unfortunately she has very few lessons, as I would rather remain home than go out doing errands and lessons, yet even with very limited socialization she does her job very well. She doesn't care for it, but she is always there for me. I'm constantly complimented on how well behaved and beautiful she is, and always asked what 'breed' she is. Discussions ensue... so Kiva works as an ambassador for the breed as well!
Hopes are, contingent on many factors, that we will breed her, in early 2017; we will see...
For now, we will simply enjoy our time together taking care of the farm, learning and doing errands.... |
