Avi

From Avi, "My kennel name was Bennett, so I might have been named Naftali. My name is Avigdor; call me Avi. I love food. I love barking and chasing dogs along the fence. I am VERY loud (Carrie said I’m "vocal"). Someday I will catch that squirrel. I get treats when I "settle". I am a guard dog, not a herding dog. I love to bark when the doorbell rings – the Amazon guy jumps far, far away."

From John, "Avi is a sweet, sensitive, and attentive companion. He is also a single-minded, alert, and driven defender of his turf. Treats are our most effective behavioral motivators. Yell "biscuit," and he will break off almost any chase, almost any. It’s hilarious to watch him "run" and bark when he is dreaming. Canaan Dogs are different, but immensely lovable. Thank you, Carrie, for Avi and for the hours you spent answering our endless questions."
