I had dreamed of owning a red and white Canaan girl for over 15 years when Lee Boyd gave me a great opportunity to lease her Meva for breeding. Meva had produced a red and white girl pup in each of her previous litters and when we bred her, she once again produced a red and white girl. This little girl had a spot on top of her head that looked like a copper penny…so we named her Penny.
Penny has been a sweet, gentle and loving girl from the start. Penny was a great mama a couple years ago when she had a litter of her own. She is not a fan of dog shows and prefers to snuggle with friends and family. Whenever I am home, Penny is not far away. She is my shadow and snuggle bunny. I could not have asked for a sweeter girl. Thank you Lee for the opportunity to get my dream girl Penny.
